Port of Airlie was completed in March 2013 and consists of 27 fully serviced Super-Berth pens.
This project was constructed using Walcon’s heavy-duty aluminium frames due to is tropical and cyclonic location.
Each berth features Patron Power service pedestals, offering metered single and 3-phase power. Potable water is also distributed to pen holders.
Protective rubber ‘D’ fender is used on all finger sections to protect the vessels from damage. The decking is crafted from natural yellow balau timber.
The Port of Airlie project was designed, fabricated and installed in-house by the Walcon team proving that remote locations are never an issue. Above all, the project was delivered on time and within the clients budget.
